A career is something everyone strives for. Although the idea is simple but finding one is a challenge. The path to one is complicated but not so complicated. There are certain factors that need to be considered when thinking about a career. What direction do you want to head? Does passion and interest play a part? How should I go about finding a career? All good questions… One, building a resume is a guide to finding the career of your choice. Two, your passion and interests is also a good start. Three, The destination is something to think about. Even if you didn’t graduate college or don’t have a high school diploma there are still options. There are creative professions out there that can turn into the career.

Creative Career Options

Independent Researcher: Be a pro at researching on-line or through encyclopedias. Your jobs is to answer questions and full fill the curiosity and interests clients have.

Independent Sales Agent: Be the go-to sales guy for a company or business. Choose a product to sell and sell it! Either on phone or in person create a list of customers that want the product and let the store know all about it.

Consulting and Coaching: Knowledge is everything in this profession. Create a business card and hand them out explaining your area of expertise. Your knowledge and advice can help many people. Study up on a certain subject and let that be your money maker.

Marketer and Promoter: You don’t have to be a professional at advertising on this one. Handing out flyers is something local businesses need. Learn digital marketing and help a business succeed.

Personal Assistant: There are many needs in life. Baby sitting, cooking, shopping, etc.. Be someone who can be a service to clients who need the help. There are many things you could do for someone else. Be creative in choosing an assistant option and go help someone in need of your service.

Strategist: If you know how things work and can put things together you can do that as a career. People and businesses are always looking to put something together for a purpose. If you can give them direction and or figure out how to do it, you will be at everyone’s phone list at the top of that list.
